Vakna docs

Note
This page is generated from a mock CLI, and its numbers are placeholders.

Vakna runs the code AI agents write in boxes: isolated machines you create, suspend, resume and fork from the vakna CLI.

These docs are a mockup. No Vakna CLI ships yet: the command and error pages are generated from a mock of it, and every number on these pages (timings, prices, counts) is a placeholder. The shape is real: the pages, their Markdown, search and the agent files are what the docs will be once the real CLI writes them.

What is Vakna says more.

Install the CLI

One command installs vakna.

sh
curl -fsSL https://vakna.com/install.sh | sh

Start with a recipe

Each is a block you can paste, and the receipt it prints.

Every section

The rest of the docs, by what you're looking for.

  • Start: Install the vakna CLI, sign in, and run your first box.
  • Concepts: What each word in Vakna means, one page per word, from the glossary.
  • Commands: Every vakna command: its flags with their defaults, examples with what they print, exit codes and JSON.
  • Recipes: The ten things people do with Vakna, each a block you can paste and the receipt it prints.
  • Errors: Every error the CLI prints, by its text, each page opening with the fix.
  • API: Coming with the first release: the API the CLI calls, for code that runs boxes without it; until then, the commands are the reference.
  • Migrations: Coming from E2B, Daytona, Modal, Vercel or Fly Sprites: their call, the vakna command for it, and where they do better.
  • Method: How Vakna's numbers are measured: hardware, region, method and the repo.
  • Changelog: What changed, week by week, one line per change.
