What a box keeps
A box keeps its name, its id, its disk and its network address for as long as it exists. Stop the command inside it and the box stays. Suspend it and the box stays. Delete it and it is gone.

A box answers to its name, its full id, or a part of its id that matches one box only. Names are DNS labels: lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. A part of an id that matches two boxes is an error, never a guess.
What a box costs
A running box bills compute by the second. A suspended box bills storage only. The receipt says which, line by line.
